We are pleased to extend a warm invitation to pilots and aircraft owners to attend the grand opening celebration at Wipaire's service center in Leesburg, Florida. The event will take place on Saturday, February 28th, and will feature a variety of activities for pilots.
Event check-in will start at 8:30 am, with a continental breakfast available. Chuck Wiplinger will kick off the event with a brief address at 9:00 am, and Brittnie Brink, aircraft sales representative, will follow to introduce the new Boss 182. Following Chuck and Brittnie will be our series of Wing's credit eligible seminars covering topics including seaplane operations and task management, float maintenance, safety gear for seaplane pilots, and general flight safety for landplane and seaplane pilots. At 11:30 we will be serving a complimentary catered lunch.
Door prizes for those attending the seminar will include a GoPro Hero4 action camera, a custom Lake & Air seaplane jacket, a $100 Lake & Air pilot shop gift certificate, and three giveaway bags featuring limited-edition 55th anniversary items from Wipaire.
Dale Fehrenbach, Director of Sales and Marketing, commented, "We hope to see a great turnout, and look forward to meeting local pilots and aircraft owners!"
Both fly-in and drive-in visitors are welcome. Fly-in visitors can park on the main ramp in front of the Wipaire hangar. All those who are planning to attend are requested to RSVP above. Schedules are subject to change; attendees are encouraged to arrive in advance of their seminar.
